Boxing Clinic & Jackpot
What better way to start the New Year than on horseback!?
Start the day with a crash course on Boxing. This event is common in Reined Cow Horse Shows. A couple of the cutting clubs offer it as well. It's a great introductory class!
Travis will go over the judges sheet with you and instructor on what a judge is looking for in this class. Competed in Boxing before? Not a problem, Travis can help you sharpen your skills and improve your show scores.
When the clinic is over, we'll set up for the Jackpot. We'll offer 3 classes, Beginners, for those who are new to cow working events. Works Cows Before, for those who are familiar with working cows, whether it's ranch work, sorting, penning, cutting, boxing, etc. Our third class will be for Youth, ages 17 and younger.
I'll be making an event page on Facebook, where I'll post updates and tips to prepare for the day, and setting the website up for online registration.
This event will be weather permitting. If we have enough pre-registrations, we'll reschedule if weather does not cooperate.
